A member asked:

Is it possible for a female who has hpv to have sex with a male (who has a sickle cell trait) and give him urethritis and then because of his trait, it turns into chlamydia?

No STD can turn into a different one, and sickle trait has no effect on any STD. HPV does not cause urethritis. You caught chlamydia from sex with an infected partner. If you have had more than one partner recently, the most recent may not be the source; you might have infected her. All partners within 2 months before start of your urethritis symptoms need to be informed and treated. Good luck.
