It depends on the size of the balloon piece she ingested and whether it was partially inflated, had anything attached to it (like a string) or if she is small for her age. Typically for a 2 year old, anything smaller than 2cm which is not hard or knotted, will pass within 24-48 hours. If the balloon piece is larger than this or had a knot in its base, she will need to be examined by a Dr in person
