Balloon : It is unlikely that he hasn't swallowed more than one balloon ! It he has no complaints I would just wait and see

Not particularly: Unlike button batteries or toxic pills, things like balloons pass through with no problem. Toddlers eat bugs, pet food, small objects as part of their exploration of nature. Be aware of the issue & watch for other possible items in their visual pathway.I would never send anyone to the ER for baloons. The button batteries are a different issue
