SLEEP STUDY: It is impossible to speak specifically about your condition. However, when you have a blocked or limited airway during sleep--usually from the tongue dropping heavily into the airway--the diaphragm movements and blockage of airway creates negative pressure in the throat. This pulls up the gastric juice, causing the burn. If you look for more tests, check and get sleep study and interpretation.
