My advice is if you are going to be around people in public, especially if it is indoors and you are within 3-6 feet of them, then you probably should have a mask. There are variants out there that are easier to catch and vaccinated people have been known to test positive after exposure to them. The good news is that the vaccine will likely prevent life-threatening illness if you do catch it.

Masks provide an incremental benefit of reducing spread of airborne viruses. N or KN95 masks do mush better than the random cloth coverings commonly used which likely give you ~ 5% protection vs 94% with the vaccine. In my state where testing positivity has been below 4% for weeks fully vaccinated folks do not wear masks. Do what suits you.

Agree with Dr. Ferranti. Mask will protect from variant Covid viruses, but more importantly it will provide protection against other respiratory pathogens like common cold and influenza. Get HPV vaccine. Wish you good health!
