As discussed in multiple questions, you can expect your HPV test to be negative. But if positive, of course you can continue unprotected sex with your husband. He would have been exposed to your infection every time you had sex over the years, almost certainly already would already have it himself, and people are immune to new infections with an HPV strain they already have. Try to settle down!

I am assuming you are waiting the result of HPV type which has caused genital wart. If the responsible HPV type turns out to be types 6, 11, 16, or 18, you are very likely protected from HPV vaccination.
