Good evening doctors. with the delta variant apparently increasing, is it still safe for fully vaccinated people to get together? should fully vaccinated people wear masks when indoors or in close proximity to each other?

The data we have seen to date show the M/P vaccines have robust activity in preventing infections or severe disease by the delta variant. Even the best masks are seldom used properly by the general public and only provide marginal benefit. I find them more a sign you respect the disease than a valuable practice. Do what you wish. I would not bother.
