Developing "white spots" could be the start of decalcification. How is his oral hygiene, eating habits (sweets)? When was his last dental cleaning with fluoride application? If more than six months, time to take him to a dentist.

Sometimes white spots on top 2 front teeth demarcate the Neo-natal line, the border between the part of the tooth that was formed before birth and the part that formed after birth. Another cause can be decalcification, acid erosion caused by bacteria, especially if oral hygiene is an issue. Please have your child evaluated by his/her Dentist, and ask for an Oral Hygiene Review.
