Nasal polyp and LV diastolic dysfunction are not related. LV diastolic dysfunction is when the LV takes a slight time longer to relax than normal. Many people would not notice, but when exercising with a faster heart rate, may cause shortness of breath. Severe cases can cause heart failure. Need to make sure blood pressure is controlled. Meds may include ACE inhibitor or beta blockers.

Not aware of any direct relation between nasal polyp and diastolic dysfunction. The diagnosis of diastolic dysfunction has become fashionable with the advent of echocardiography, and needs to be evaluated more critically. Please ask your cardiologist to give you his expert opinion based on more complete data.
