Chronic sinusitis: Yes, he might have recurrent sinusitis with recurrent polyps if he had those before especially when he is symptomatic now. He needs to be re-evaluated. He might need surgery again. After surgery, he needs to get more intensive treatment to prevent it from recurring. Environmental and Aspirin allergies are the most common causes of chronic sinusitis with recurrent polyps.

Polyps: Polyps tend to come back and chronic sinusitis may remain chronic. He needs to see an ENT or allergist and probably get another scan on his sinuses.
