Ultrasound found- left ovary measures 6.2 x 5.2 x 3.4 cm and or contains a 4 x 4.2 x 3.8 cm cystic lesion. ive had tremendous pain during my cycle and pain between cycles, this pain is new. could this cause it? very heavy bleeding too, thank you?

Endometriosis may cause severe pain with menses,and bleeding into an existing cystic structure in the ovary will cause a different kind of pain as described. Complex ovarian pathology needs tissue biopsy, but see your gyn provider for an exam, and other testing, and ask about low dose bcp's to stop ovarian estrogen production.

Recent tv ultrasound found a complex lesion, non cystic, measuring 1.4cm. My estrone is at 260 pg/ml & total estrogen is over 975pg/ml. MRI showed "normal ovary". Could the MRI have missed the lesion? Or could it have disappeared in 10 days?
