Is it possible to have had strep throat and an ear infection with no signs of fever? i was diagnosed with both but the only symptoms i had were pain?

Depending on the time of the year between 5 &20% of people can carry strep and not be ill with it or have signs. There is controversy as to whether asymptomatic strep carriers need treatment. Ear infections require an exam to diagnose but may not have fever.
