I got an extraction and the extraction site is still sore and tender. im on day 5 of the healing process, im not in pain or no fever but the socket is now a grey color its like grey stuff over the socket, is that normal?

IF THE EXTRACTION SITE IS BIG FROM A BACK TOOTH OR IT WAS DIFFICULT THAN IT TAKES LONGER TO HEAL AND THE AREA WOULD BE SORE AND TENDER FOR AT LEAST TEN DAYS . THE SOCKET IS NORMAL COLOR ,IF IT WAS INFECTED YOU WOULD SEE WHITEISH OR YELLOWISH PUS.
