My 7 year daughter has had intermittent fever (up to 102for 5 days now along with a little sore throat and red swollen gums- she is getting a mohler tooth at ths time also. any suggestions for treatment?

Probably viral: If she also has a stuffy nose, this is likely viral. If she only has a sore throat, i would recommend having your doctor take a look and swab her throat for a quick strep test. Make sure she's drinking fluids, and use tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen as recommended on the bottle for her weight.

Sounds like teething: If your daughter is not allergic to either advil or tylenol, (acetaminophen) you can give her the appropriate dose to manage her fever and pain. It sounds like teething pain but i would have her see a dentist about the swollen gums to rule out other possible pathologies as soon as possible.
