In dyshydrotic eczema fluid filled, very itchy blisters appear on the palms & soles. On the other hand, hives only remain in place for a day but appear and reappear in scattered distribution. They can resemble insect bites but can be much larger. They are also very itchy. I tend to believe you're experiencing hives. A dermatologist would be best to evaluate, advise and treat you.
