Would not advise excessive steroid injections, as these are unlikely to help in the face of hyaluronic acid seemingly not lasting long enough. Instead, see your orthopedic surgeon soon and have evaluation as to what is occurring in your knees

I would not recommend having a steroid injection at this point. You and your orthopaedic surgeon are still evaluating just how successful the viscosupplementation injection (the gel) has been. However, if you have not had any significant pain relief from the gel injection three months ago, you may want to consider a different type of viscosupplementation. A differen brand may be more effective
