I'm not sure that a gynecologic surgeon would agree to remove your ovaries solely to help you lose weight. Have you been prescribed the antidiabetic medication, metformin? This reduces insulin resistance and decreases the male hormones in pcos that also contribute to weight gain. The metformin along with a registered dietician's at your hospital should help you reach your ideal weight.
