It really depends : On your reperoductive needs. If you are done with childbearing hysterectomy is certainly an option but there are other alternatives that are less invasive that you might want toconsider like endometrial ablation and even an intruterine device. Speak to your physian about less aggressive options, but again how you proceed hinges on whether or not you desire future fertility.

Depends: Many of your symptoms would be treatable without surgery. If those treatments fail, or if you have other issues with the uterus and / or ovaries - then surgery may be an appropriate consideration. See you doctor.
