There are many conditions associated with a prolonged cough. The green color of your mucus may be associated with an infection. A chronic infection including TB should be considered. A sample of the sputum and a course of antibiotics after discussion with your PCP may be considered. A chest image may also be useful as indicated. Keep well hydrated, monitor your temperature and avoid smoke.
