What causes wet and dry cough, thick mucus production (both clear and green), slight tightness in lungs, and fatigue? have had these symptoms for about 5 weeks. started off as uri, but some symptoms are still lingering?

Such symptoms are common in bronchitis or sinusitis that start as viral and associate a bacterial suprainfection among other possibilities. Best would be to see your doc for an exam and further recommendations.

Any cough lasting longer than 2 weeks needs to be evaluate. It would be prudent to see a doctor, preferably a lung doctor, a pulmonologist. Wish you good health!
