Why is there so much mucus in my throat? i have to constantly clear my throat. when i breathe you can sometimes hear the mucus in my throat. it seems to be coming from my lungs not my sinuses. i have a wet cough as well. i have no congestion?

Heavy mucus if from your lungs is a symptom of significant bronchial inflammation and you are likely much sicker, not just only a wet cough. Post nasal drainage from sinusitis is still suspected even you think you do not have sinusitis. Stomach reflux (GERD) is another source, especially if symptom is more pronounced on supine position. Take Allegra (OTC) for 3 days as a therapeutic diagnosis.
