I've been having urethritis type symtoms. i had a pcr urine test uti/ prostste done also for sti , how accurate is this test ? if anything was there would it of showed up ?? it came back as negative but still have symtoms?

If you had the test just for detecting gonorrhea or chlamydia urethritis (a quick test), the test will miss other bacteria which also cause bacterial urethritis. There is a urine PCR test which can detect almost all bacteria in the urine but this one is not a rapid test. If you had this test done, it is more sensitive than a urine culture.
