A member asked:

I had a vitrectomy three years ago and now i have a macular pucker from the surgery. my vision is 20/40. will the macular pucker get worse or is there any possibility it might get better or stay the same?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Macular pucker also occurs from the retina healing itself. Your operating ophthalmologist who knows the postop condition of your retina and its status on subsequent checkups is the best person to answer your question.
