A member asked:

I have a wart on my hand.now it's gone.now i'm worried that if i'm not vaccinated for hpv,it will passes through sex to my partner? i'm worried?

Common warts like that on your hand infest the skin surface & are acquired at random from chance contact in the environment. They are not caused by the strains that are passed sexually. The HPV vaccine can help prevent you from getting sexually transmitted strains you have not had already. It does not treat HPV or prevent you from passing active HPV you already have to others.
