Your choice: HPV warts transfer from genital skin to genital skin most often in the initial phase. They can take months or more to appear after exposure. I would consider you exposed & likely to eventually become infected.The vaccines only cover 2 of the 4 or more HPV strains known to cause genital warts so while a good idea to vaccinate I would not base a decision on that event.
