I have a white coated tongue that can be scraped, sometimes clumpy white stuff is removed. mouth is dry at times. been treated with fluconazole, nystatin and mycelex with no resolution. this happened after covid. any ideas?

How long ago was your covid infection? During your covid infection was your tongue reddened& was white coating observed? Is your tongue simply coated.or covered with patches of white matter which is more typical of a fungal infection? Simple white coating is usually from bacteria &mouth debris. If your coated tongue doesn't clear up after a couple of weeks, consult an ENT or oral surgeon
