I suffered a re-injury of my back earlier this week (my spine is fused from l2-s1). last night, i began experiencing severe pain & difficulty walking. i have diarrhea & a fever (100 f). is this coincidence or could the back injury be the cause?

Diarrhea and fever likely unrelated. However, reinjury of back + severe pain + difficulty walking could all be related to original back issue. If legs are truly weak you need to be seen in ER - NOW.
