Cauda equina: At this juncture it is best to seek consultation with you primary care provider and this could indicate a neurologic issue given you history of spinal fusion in the area that you described.

Other symptoms: If you feel pain, numbness, tingling of legs and trunk or similar issues with urinating, weakness of legs and giving out of legs, then the bowel accident is more concerning. If it happens again, certainly see a neurologist.
