A member asked:

I had a cbc done my lymphs are 46.7 but every thing else normal what does this mean?

We would like to have seen the entire report of your CBC&differential cell count, but lymphocytes normally comprise up to 40% of circulating white cells. Elevated lymphocyte counts are often seen in viral infections. Your MD who knows your condition and results of your testing can advise you best.

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, it would have helped had you provided the complete report of testing. Wish you good health!
