Long history of vague symptoms (sun sens. rashes + malar rash, fatigue, reynaud's, stiffness...) weak+ in labs (ana (#?), dsdna.) now 3 mo. of bilateral pain/mild swelling in hands/wrists/toes. 14-3-3 eta 1.7ng/ml. how likely ra with this lab? thanks?

This could actually be lupus. If your dsDNA is positive, along with the malar rash, joint symptoms and fatigue, lupus becomes more likely. You need to see a rheumatologist for a full evaluation and treatment, once diagnosed. Hopefully, you can get diagnosed soon and get some relief. Best of luck to you!

I agree with Dr.F. I would add a test for the antibody, RNP as you have certain features of mixed connective tissue disease. In this disorder ANA & RA factor is often not helpful. . I hope a rheumatologist is involved in your care.
