The vast majority of cases occur in those over 50 years old, with most of them in the 75+ portion. However, pancreatic cancer does occur in small numbers in those under 30, so if you are having abdominal or mid-back pain, unusual color stools, digestive symptoms or other medical concerns, you should discuss these with your Primary Care Provider. Early detection allows the most time for treatment.
