I am a poultry worker and i have white patches of my skin on my back and chest that have turned white... like tinea versicular. i get raised red welts. also i'm having depression and constipation, bloating, fatigue, anxiety.... what do i do?

The skin condition is,as you guesse,Tinea versicolor.Buy Selsun medicated shampoo(the one with Selenium sulphide)For 2 wks,Apply to dry chest&back like a lotion,leave for 15 min& wash off in shower. The discoloration will improve by the winter.For the other symptoms you should see the PCP. You may have Irritable Bowel Syndrome-C,worsens with some foods&anxiety.New drugs are effective.

Your symptoms all come under the heading of non-specific, except for the tinea, but even that can be related to allergies to a chemical or food to which you have been exposed. The underlying issue is some sort of inflammation which has been impacting immune reactions in your skin, brain, gastrointestinal tract, and sympathetic nervous system. I would encourage you to see a PCP for evaluation.
