Is there any reason to suspect the covid vaccine as a factor in development of wide qrs within a week of the injection?

Remote possibility. It is not wise to say, never, but rare instances of myocarditis have been reported in young people. It would be prudent to exclude other causes before blaming Covid vaccine. Wish you good health!

There are NO reports of such cardiac conduction defects noted so far with COVID-19 vaccines that are used in the USA. Notify your doctor of your concerns and explore possible medication side effects and other etiologies.
