A member asked:

Is it possible to get an air embolism from a covid-19 vaccine shot? or is that not possible because it is an intramuscular injection? thanks?

There is no need to speculate about an air embolism from a vaccine jab. This to my knowledge has never occurred with any vaccine, and certainly not with the COVID-19 vaccine. Get your vaccination ASAP, as the risk of infection complications is very real.

I think it would be highly, highly unusual, unless someone injected wrong ( we never say never in medicine) because it is intramuscular not in the vein/artery and you do take out air bubbles before injections.
