An EMG/ NCS, if properly done and interpreted provides results that are 100% objective, and patients cannot affect results by anxiety or muscular tension, or malingering. Since you seem hesitant to accept outcome, discuss the conclusions with the doctor who did the study, and ask if there is clinical correlation.
