I just got an mri-enterography abdomen and pelvis pre and post iv contrast... report says.. retained fecal material and variable distention limit assessment of the colon. there are no definite findings of colitis.. should i worry, what does it mean?

Basically it means that your colon was not as clear as it could have been The reader didn't see anything to be concerned about, but can't guarantee that there isn't some abnormality masked by the suboptimal preparation. Discuss the results with your doctor
