I began running about 7 months again and a few weeks in, i began experiencing fibula pain. the pain is located a couple of inches above the ankle. i stopped running for 3 months until they didnt hurt. i began running again and the pain has returned?

Sounds like you have developed an overuse injury from your running. You did the right thing by resting it in allowing it to heal however the cause of it has not been established. Because it’s probably biomechanical In nature. The cause could be as simple as your shoes, the surface you run on, or the biomechanical structure of your body and function. See a sports medicine podiatrist
