When my 5 years old son was 10 months old doctor heard heart murmurs.sent us to cardiologist and he saw a tiny hole not closed.said to come back at age of 6 to recheck.since then his doctor never heard murmur again. is it likely that hole closed?

Yes. One of the more common causes of a murmur recognized at that age is a small hole between the lower chambers. It usually closes as the kid gets older, often by 1-2 years of age.

If he has been otherwise well, it is likely that the hole has closed. However, I would still recommend following up with the cardiologist to be sure.
