If x-rays are being taken for a possible scapholunate tear from a bad fall woukd that cause pain on pinky side of wrist as well as pinky and ring fingers cuz that is where all the pain is and it not going away at all just wonder if right xrays were?

The wrist bones are a problem area to assess. Sometimes a repeat x-ray done a week to 10 days after trauma is needed to find a subtle break or crack. Contact your doc.

Most common causes of ulnar wrist pain you describe is a torn triangular fibrocartilage, injury to the distal radial ulnar joint or lunato-triquetral joint all three commonly require an MRI for full evaluation. See a hand surgeon
