Not certain what you mean by standard. A healthy BP (normal) LessThan(LT) 120/80 taken correctly (almost never is) with an accurate devices (most rarely calibrated at least 3 times on visits. SPRINT study tested(6 yrs ago) in high risk patients, if lowering 140/90 to LT120/80 was better/worse that lowering 2 130/80. LT120 won in every issue tested to date. Analysis still going on. Stay tuned.
