Talk to your doctor: 120/80 while taking meds is perfect. If you stop them over the next few days your blood pressure will likely increase back tot he levels it was when you started the medication. In general blood pressure medications are meant for long term use as the long term complications from higher blood pressure are severe. You should talk to your doctor if you have concerns. Good luck.
