I have a slight protrusion of a cervical spine disk. sudden pain in the shoulder area, top, and back. can the protrusion get worse suddenly for no known reason? trouble turning my head, trouble sleeping. can raise my arm without much trouble?

Symptoms fluctuate in intensity, and not unique to have both exacerbations and remissions. During bad times, you might employ a soft cervical collar. Physical therapy with motorized cervical traction should be used. McKenzie neck exercises can enhance range of motion.
