Neurosurgeon: I recommend that you consult a neurosurgeon for evaluation and treatment options. Your MRI demonstrates a herniated intervertebral disc that is pressing the spinal cord at the neck. Also your neck shows osteoarthritis of vertebrae at multiple levels. Your arm symptoms are most likely caused by the disc herniation. Arm weakness is worrisome and requires some treatment to avoid permanent damage
