Why do you assume something was "done wrong"? Your pain may be due to other factors, and without an exam or current radiographs it is not possible to assess your condition. Please revisit your dentist or see a local oral surgeon for a consultation.

The location of the pain (under the eye) makes it sounds like it is likely from your upper canine extraction site. Return to your dentist to find out the reason for the pain, and if 3D scan can help. Since it's been 7 months, the origin of pain may be unrelated to the tooth removal. Your dentist--if unrelated to the tooth removal--will give you a referral to other practitioner. Hope this helps!
