A member asked:

Is it normal for a six year olds second top molar to be loose?! it is about to come out. has 6yr molars - looks like that one could be pushing it out? has lost all front teeth and got teeth early as a baby. no trauma he can recall?

At about the age of six children start to loose the "baby" teeth at the front of the mouth and the first permanant fromt teeth and the first molars start to errupt. The deciduous molars (baby molars) usually are lost a little later and it does sound as though they are ahead of schedule. Please see you dentist and ask them to check and advise you.
