Before treating a symptom, a proper diagnosis would be needed. In your case the circumstances you perceive the irregular heart beat are suggesting a musculoskeletal challenge, either strain or direct pressure and as such a pectoral or chest wall fasciculation or twitching appears likely as well. Given the fact that heart may still be the culprit addressing the issue with your doc would be best.
