What's your Doc say?: If you are prescribed 150mg of metop + 5mg amlodipine, yes, they can be taken together. If you are not having adequate blood pressure control (#s above 140/90), then you should see your doctor and have your medications adjusted to better control your blood pressure--if it stays elevated, it can contribute to heart and cerebrovascular problems.
