Why hypertension: The pain in the left arm may or may not be because of the blood pressure but in your setting likely is. At your age you should not have this pressure and it should be more responsive to medication. You need to have your endocrine system (thyroid,adrenal glands) and your kidney system evaluated as well as cardiovascular. Ask your MD why you have this pressure and ask soon. This pressure no exercise
