Yes, get it removed! See an ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) specialist or a dermatologist. See your PCP first to help get a referral sooner. If it gets worse suddenly go to an Urgent Care or ER. Don't pick it!.

Location might make it difficult to be removed, definitely needs to be diagnosed properly and treated. Start with your doc for an exam, if a specialist is needed, your doc will be able to coordinate accordingly.
