Treated for UTI one month ago should not be the reason for bilateral abdominal or flank pain at this time. Rarely, kidney infection or ovarian infection will happen bilaterally, appendicitis is on the right side. In the abdomen, pain in both sides is more likely originating from lower gastrointestinal tract (intestine and colon). Does she have the urge of bowel movement? Does she have nausea?
